Speaking of locations, Nate, Sean and I found this one spot in Arizona that would be perfect to shoot at. The story of the area is a simple one. They were going to build something, but they gave up on the project and left little “ditches” or what the locals call “the pits”. Area teens and other random people come to party, skate, do graffiti. Some of the graffiti is pretty sweet. Not sure what we can film there, we have to wait until the story and script grow, but we will use it non the less.

We believe in that every one has a chance to do what they love. Sometimes that dream or goal can seem to far out of reach because of money for school or just knowing the right people or just simply lack of motivation. Simply said, we are YOUR right people. We stand here to help give you the experience and mind set to get things done. Talking about your dreams all day is one thing, living them out is success!

Now lets explain the process!

1.SOG OpenFILM Foundation puts you in the planning stage. Everything from Characters, Locations, Camera Angles, Music and Sound, and Graphics become a basis for discussion on our community forum on www.bluesrc.tk

2.With a strong TEAM based community working together towards the BIG picture we can all work as a movie making and planning machine. Creativity, and motivation flowing through all of the members of Project Blue Source.

3.During the planning process we will holding small contest and polls to establish different parts of the film. This way the community can come to a consensus and work as a TEAM.

4.During this process the creators will be updating members of Project Blue Source with vlogs about news, and new ideas and equipment overviews. Not to mention answering any questions had by our users! This way you can have a personal experience and try to work as close to us possible no matter what distance you live.

5.All the while the project is going strong and “d-day” is drawing nearer. We at SOG OpenFILM Foundation are exactly that, a Foundation, so to keep things rolling smoothly we do offer a page on the site that you can donate towards the mission of SOG OpenFILM. We will also will being selling branded merchandise in the soon coming store to help fund our developments. All this funding is used to keep all the cameras rolling, actors fed, and bandwidth at bey…

6.Soon coming all the communities efforts are coming closer to the BIG picture! The creators will begin selecting cast and crew for the final shoot (D-Day). When the volunteer actors come to our casting call we will put up videos of there performance and about them. This is to keep you up to date with everything that goes on in the Project.

7.Final adjustments are made to the script and camera angles and sound are all finalized. And now its time. The Big day…

8.D-Day… Everyones efforts, hard work, and enthusiasm comes together in making this film what it was intended to do. Entertain, and show the world that YOU can make big things happen and make your dreams a REALITY!

9.After the shoot, now comes one of the most importing part of the entire project. Editing. This is where those of you who volunteered for this task come in and make this something we can all be proud of!

10.The movie is edited and ready for some premiers! We will be premiering the project in select theaters only. So then we can all get to see our creation brought to the big screen! After the couple day premier has ended we will begin preparing for the DVD and Blueray sales. These are hard professional copies of the film. It will also feature everything behind the scenes, from the shoot to bloopers back at SOG OpenFILM Foundation Arizona and the New Jersey base. Also included is all the interviews, vlogs, and content that made the film. Including a copy of the script, and commentary from the creators on how we got inspired to do this, and all the things we had to over come to achieve all of our goals.

Glenn Rodriguez 22, Jersey local with a pure passion for film and entertainment. Nate Lewis 21, Also a Jersey local, the problem solver has a passion for motivating people, and art in all forms. Also a huge car enthusiast, he helps get the ball rolling, and uses his artistic mind to inspire those around him. Also brought “open” to SOG Productions. He has also has a love for acting, and starred in SOG Productions short 180, (ref. Above).

Sean Hagerty 20, Another Jersey local, As a recent member of the SOG team he is on his way to fulfilling a career in the Music/Film Industry. As a graduate of The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, where he studied Audio Engineering, Music Business, both Commercial and Post Production, Video Game Audio Design and more. Now, with the help of his friends/colleagues, he is ready to take this knowledge, build upon it and apply it to something besides just music.

SOG Productions New Jersey Base

Joe Nicoletta 22, Jersey local, and Co-owner of SOG Productions and head of the New Jersey branch. He has experience in acting and production. His latest projects include that of 180 where he acted as Producer and Co Director. He cant wait to see the next project on the BIG screen.

Frank Mastrogiocomo III 22, Another Jersey local, and new member to SOG, he has passions for all things art, and cars, and TMNT… He acted as the Boom Mic Operator and extra in the SOG Production 180. He is another essential key to the success of the company like others. He brings attitude and a wiliness to get things done, and achieve his goals.

People who visit and come to know the set of this project and our goals are encouraged to aid us in the creative process and help make this upcoming film something YOU can be apart of.

We like to take inspiration from other “open” projects and foundations like the Blender Foundation (http://www.blender.org ) and other such related amazing works out there. We would like to join and expand on the ways of creating Open Source based entertainment. Films set in the real world using live action digital film, plus some later 3d animation based projects.
